Course Description:
This course will discuss the valuation clauses found in both the homeowners and commercial property forms. Specific attention will be spent on such issues as: replacement cost; functional replacement cost; actual cash value; stated/stipulated value; selling price; and stated value laws. The issues discussed in the presentation include:
Limit setting as well as how claims are settled based on valuation
Review of policy language relating to valuation
