Course Description:
This course will focus on the coverages typically found in either an Owner Controlled Insurance Program or a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program. Included will be a discussion of coverage concerns when placing either of these types of coverages.
The course includes:
Differences between OCIP and CCIP in contract and coverage structure
Coverages typically included and impact of state law
Changes that must be included in the CGL for appropriate coverage response for both the general and the enrolled subcontractors
On site versus off site coverage and contractual obligations placed upon subcontractors
